Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of experience in developing marketing strategy in a consumer brand, agency, or consulting firm.
- Experience in managing projects that involve internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to speak and write in English and Japanese fluently.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in hardware product launch: go-to-market and retail strategy.
- Research experience collecting market and user insights.
- Ability to work with ambiguity and work in a fast-changing environment, with an entrepreneurial approach.
- Ability to work with and influence cross-functional teams to achieve shared strategic goals.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills, with ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic and constantly evolving context.

Whether you're on a consumer product (Gmail, Search, Maps) or a business product (Google Ads, AdSense), you'll take part in a complete marketing experience as you'll lead every facet of the product's journey. From determining positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization, and external communications, you'll help shape the product and help it grow a loyal consumer base. This means you'll work with a cross-functional team across sales, corporate communications, legal, webmasters, product development, engineering, and more. In this role, you'll be involved with product marketing strategy from beginning to end.
- Collect and analyze data to shape market and user insight.
- Identify the opportunities for new Pixel products and shape the go-to-market strategy.
- Develop and execute the co-marketing strategy with key partners.
- Collaborate with global and APAC regional teams, and third-party partners, and work across all marketing functions to represent Japanese consumers.
- Foster collaboration with cross-functional teams including PR, product, legal, sales, and business development to ensure alignment on strategic priorities and direction.
